Handwritten copy of the Penal Code. It bears a title indicating that it was made on the original and only official edition / in Paris / from the imperial printing house / 1810, with a small engraved vignette, laminated. The last leaf bears the name of Monsieur Dessaignes / av(oca)t.
This manuscript is a perfect testimony to the importance of the Penal Code from the moment it was first published.
