An amusing collection of notes, riddles, charades, logogryphs, rhymes, bon mots and songs, no doubt intended to brighten up the long winter evenings.
A total of 149 handwritten leaves, including a title, a warning leaf and 147 leaves written on both sides in brown ink. An 8-leaf table helps to locate passages. Finally, 31 leaves have been left blank.
Soiled vellum with the beginnings of splits at the hinges.
Another 19th-century MANUSCRIT is attached: Pensées diverses. S.l.n.d. (first half of the 19th century). Brown ink on paper, each page within a handsome framed frieze in black ink outlined with fillets of red paint (green paint for the first page). 256 pages bound in an in-32 volume, contemporary ivory half vellum.
