Caillet, 9414 /// un titre-15 pl.-15 f. manuscrits.
Curious suite of 15 engravings by Léonard Gaultier and Charles de Mallery for Louis Richeome's Tableaux sacrez des figures mystiques du très-auguste Sacrifice et Sacrement de l'Eucharistie. They are preceded by a title engraved by Thomas de Leu. The engravings are interfoliated with handwritten text leaflets explaining each plate.
Caillet describes Richeome's work as mystical, and lists two editions illustrated with these plates, in 1601 and 1609. He indicates a title and 14 plates. Our copy contains the same title and 15 plates.
Spine rubbed.
