A large 'beer' or 'ale' glass (beaker), 18th century, possibly England, H 12.5 cm, D 10.3 cm, Provenance; purchased from Jan van Loo, ca. 1970, thence by descent through the family. A greyish glass wide cup (beaker) on a flat base with rough (unpolished) pontil mark. Pristine condition. No damage or restoration. Airbubbles and small imperfections in the glass as to be expected (typical manufacturing flaws and irregularities). No restoration.
