La Baby Enzo The model This car is a paradox. It is in fact both the last and the first. The last V8-engined berlinetta to offer manual gearboxes, and the first Ferrari to incorporate new technical innovations. Both are world firsts. The E-diff, an electronic differential and a knob on the steering wheel, nicknamed the "manettino", for adjusting the systems that manage the car's dynamics. Berlinettes are Ferrari's "entry-level product". They are two-seater coupes or spiders with a V8 engine in a central rear position. The 308 inaugurated this range in 1975, and when the time came to replace the 360 Modena with its 400 hp, the 5th opus, Ferrari had to raise the bar, as Lamborghini had in the meantime released its 500 hp V10 entry-level model, the Gallardo. The considerably revised F430 was presented in 2005. Its naturally-aspirated eight-cylinder engine delivers 490 hp at 8,500 rpm and 465 nm of maximum torque at 5,250 rpm, a gain of 90 hp over the Modena. It takes its name from its displacement, 4.3 liters, which, at 490 hp, gives over 100 hp per liter, a magical and almost unrivalled frontier for an atmospheric engine. This V8 is undoubtedly the most visually appealing engine on the market, and so enchanting phonetically! This motorization allows it to enter the 300 km/h club, with a Vmax of 315 km/h. Ferrari has never officially communicated production figures for manual gearboxes, but the figure is around 5%, or around 750/1000 cars. The availability of an F430 with this gearbox has therefore become very rare, and this has a significant impact on prices compared with identical models equipped with F1 gearboxes. It should also be pointed out that the F430 is by far the least expensive Ferrari of this generation. The Ferrari gearbox, with its metal "H"-shaped grille, provides a unique feel and enhances appreciation of the engine. What you lose in shifting speed is more than made up for by the sense of satisfaction generated by each gear change and the impression of greater control. When this gearbox is featured on a car specifically prepared by the brand to show apprentice drivers and future buyers its full potential, you can't help but be interested! The model This is a Ferrari F430 with mechanical gearbox, specially designed for the Italian Ferrari driving school. Only 6 examples have been produced, 3 with mechanical gearbox and 3 with F1 automatic gearbox. The PILOTA FERRARI course was offered to Ferrari customers for €6930 incl. VAT. This vehicle was put on the road in 2007, and we have the complete vehicle history, which can be consulted on request. The vehicle is generally in good condition, with no structural damage or visible perforating oxidation. Identification is in keeping with the elements presented. We can also note the plate indicating the vehicle's registration no. 152544. The odometer showed 85,453 km on the day of inspection. The Rosso Scuderia paintwork has been refurbished to a very high standard. There are some very slight defects in appearance in various areas of the bodywork. The paintwork has been redone. The original tint label is missing. The bodywork elements are homogeneous in terms of daylight and flush. The upper structure of the vehicle is free of visible signs of previous repair or apparent deformation. The rear side members were manufactured in 2004 (consistent with and predating vehicle production). The windows are in standard condition and are engraved. The interior and instrumentation are in good condition and functional. The vehicle has been fitted with a specific carbon gear knob with red piping to match the steering wheel (surely only made for Ferrari driving school cars), leather-wrapped rollover bar, carbon pack, extended leather upholstery and yellow stitching. Note the protective film on the door sills and center console. The Sparco upholstery is in original carbon and is very well preserved, which is very rare on this type of vehicle. The mechanical package is in good working order, backed up by maintenance invoices and a dynamic test drive. Engine levels are correct. The engine number recorded is *114538*. We placed the vehicle on an elevator. The underbody and floor are free from perforating corrosion or apparent deformation. The lower structure of the vehicle is free of any visible signs of previous repair or apparent deformation. It should be noted that the flat floor does not allow visual access to the entire vehicle.
