CHINE - Vers 1900 VITRINARY SCREEN featuring several staggered shelves with stylized scrolls in slight relief around the edges, the sides carved with a bat holding a ribbon from which coloquintes with foliage hang. It fits into a pedestal whose side jambs feature two coloquintes joined together, surrounded by foliage and joined by a bat holding a sounding gong. The crosspiece joining the two jambs features three small drawers decorated with stylized interlacing. Hongmu wood H. 71 cm - W. 75 cm - D. 31 cm The shelves are probably later, as is the glass; the bases of the side jambs are of a different wood.
