What makes this helmet so special is the fact that Fernando Alonso placed a sticker on it before the race in support of the victims of the Barcelona bombing, which took place on August 17, 2017, just a few days before the Belgian Grand Prix. Those in the know will recognize the typical little mark on the right side of the helmet, proving that Alonso was used to supporting the right side of his capsule during races.
