[AUBE]. [RUVIGNY]. Deed confirming the change of name of the land of Callimotte to the land of Ruvigny at the request of lord Henry de Massué, knight of Ruvigny. In French, deed on parchment Signature of Guenegaud on the fold. Under the fold, signature of Louis (secretary by hand). France, Paris, February 1653 Remains of green wax seal on green and pink lakes (seal damaged). Dimensions: 630 x 235 mm. ATTACHED: Extract from the register of the Parlement de Paris registering the change of name (March 24, 1653). Signed Du Tillet. - Deed of foy and homage dated February 6, 1653 from Henri de Massué for the Callimotte land renamed Ruvigny. These two deeds are linked by a cord to the main deed. Henri de Massué, marquis de Rivigny (1605-1689) was a French Huguenot general and ambassador extraordinary for the Kingdom of France.
