CAMPBELL DONALD: (1921-1967) British car & motorboat racer, World Land and Water Speed Record Holder in the 1950s and 1960s. An oblong 8vo printed brochure issued for the Proteus Bluebird Project 1963 World Challenge, signed and inscribed by Campbell in bold blue fountain pen ink to a clear area of his image on the first introductory page. Two file holes to the left edge of the brochure, not affecting the image or signature, and some light creasing and age wear to the paper covers, which also feature a red ink annotation in the hand of a previous owner.
