"Condotiero Colleoni" and "Condotiero Gattamelata" two sculptures of the Grand Tour in patinated bronze, ff. S. XIX. On a red marble and Sienna marble base. The models are based on the originals that were made of the Condottiere Bartolomeo Colleoni, by Andrea Verrocchio located in the Campo de San Giovani e Paolo in Venice and the monument to the Venetian Condottiere Erasmo de Narni known as Gattamelata work of Donatello that is It is located in the Piazza del Santo in Padua and it was one of the first equestrian statues of the entire Renaissance. A bronze model of Colleoni identical to this but smaller is known, signed by the German sculptor Ludwig Eisenberger active between 1895 and 1920, as well as a larger edition by the Paris publisher Boudet. In the case of Gattamelata, a model of the same dimensions is known, made by the foundry of Giorgio Sommer (1834-1914) in Naples. Measurements: 62 x 22 x 48 and 6i3 x 22 x 49 cm large beautiful 19th century Italian Grand Tour bronze statue of Gattamelata," Venetian condottiere Erasmo da Narni", on a Rosso Antico and Sienna marble base. Sommer Napoli ( 1834-1911) The Equestrian Statue of Gattamelata is an Italian Renaissance sculpture by Donatello, dating from 1453, today in the Piazza del Santo in Padua, Italy. It portrays the condottiero Erasmo da Narni, known as "Gattamelata", who served mostly under the Republic of Venice, which ruled Padua at the time.
