Jean-Emile Puiforcat (1897 - 1945) was a French goldsmith designer and artist. He made designs in a very revolutionary Art Deco style for the time, influencing subsequent avant-garde designs, occupying a prominent place in the history of France and with pieces exhibited at the Louvre Museum. In 1942 the Puiforcat family settled for a while in Mexico City.
