Jean-Emile Puiforcat. Pair of French gilt silver candelabras, Puiforcat punched, Louis XV model, Paris Law 925. Jean-Emile Puiforcat. Pair of candelabra in French gilt silver with punching from Puiforcat, Louis XV model, Paris Law 925. With three arms of light in the form of branches that unite in a central flame. Organic style balustraded stem and base with pebbles and cartouches. With "Puiforca-Paris" inscription on the base. Jean-Emile Puiforcat (1897 - 1945) was a French goldsmith designer and artist. He made designs in a very revolutionary Art Deco style for the time, influencing subsequent avant-garde designs, occupying a prominent place in the history of France and with pieces exhibited at the Louvre Museum. In 1942 the Puiforcat family settled for a while in Mexico City. They keep original covers of the firm. Weight: 4,197 Kg Height: 32.5 cm
