Interesting and possibly unique prototype of a large Noël et Guery 13-shot flat-barrel revolver in 12 mm caliber. Total length 320 mm. Smooth walnut stock, repolished gun with no markings or numbers, percussion by side hammer, a door on the left of the cylinder housing pivots to reveal the latter and allow loading and unloading operations. The presence of a cap ring suggests that this weapon was presented to a military test commission. The large, flat hammer on the right-hand side of the frame, in contrast to the small model usually encountered, features a trigger guard. White polished weapon (repolished), a few light, very faded pits, barrels still with nice, almost straight rifling (4), functional mechanism despite a slight weakness in the trigger return spring and in the door latch. Condition 2+. Category D weapon
