Large duan stone screen with finely carved decoration in reddish-brown lacquer and gold highlights, depicting a lake city with longevity pines, weeping willows and conifers. Finely carved junk and boats on foaming waves surrounded by pagodons. Red lacquered reverse decorated with black calligraphy illustrating a song by Wen Tianxiang (1236-1283) evoking the power of Qi "energy".
