GERMAN HELMET
Helmet of German origin is assumed to belong to the M42 model because of the aerators obtained by molding and the
ends of the shell not rebated.
Helmet in complete internal condition, either a decal is missing or the helmet can be dated after August 28, 1943, at which time no decal was any longer affixed to German helmets, while the decal on the other side is definitely posthumous.
Inside are the initials NS 64 D 298.
