Oil on canvas painting, after an original artwork titled The happier days of Charles I by Frederic Goodall, 1822 to 1904, a British academic artist. The painting depicts a large royal barge gliding along the River Thames. King Charles I, 1600 to 1649, is depicted standing beside his queen, Henrietta, watching the children feeding two swans swimming beside the barge. Signed by the artist in the lower right, N. Favart. 19th century. Unframed. Collectible European Fine Art, Historical Genre. Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. With a crack on the canvas. Refer to photos.
