A SANCAI-GLAZED PORCELAIN FIGURE OF AN IMMORTAL, QING
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Standing atop a pierced rectangular base, one arm lowered, the other holding a lotus scepter. Overall glazed with green, aubergine, and yellow amber glazes.
Condition: With minor wear and firing flaws, few small chips to the scepter. The head reattached.
Provenance: North American estate, with an old label noting that the lot was acquired in 1937 in China to underside.
