A GLAZED PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A BOY, QING DYNASTY China, Qing dynasty (1644-1912). The figure modeled seating and covered in a faint celadon glaze, an underglaze blue splash indicates the presence of a tied robe at the front. Condition: Good condition with some wear, firing flaws and a small chip to one hand. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Dr. István Zelnik, President of the Hungarian South and Southeast Asian Research Institute, is a former high-ranking Hungarian diplomat who spent several decades in Southeast Asia, building the largest known private collection of Asian art in Europe.
