A FINE SONG STYLE QINGBAI GLAZE PORCELAIN INCENSE BURNER
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or possibly earlier. The egg-shaped burner carved with overlapping petals and set on a bowl stand supported on six trefoil feet, the openwork cover with grooves resembling mountains, covered overall in a lustrous glaze of pale blue, the rims and base left unglazed.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and firing flaws such as dark spots.
Provenance: Parisian private collection, according to the current owner bought at Galerie Stuker before 2010.
