A GUAN-TYPE CRACKLED GLAZED BOTTLE VASE, c. 1920s
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The pear-shaped body supported on a short straight foot, surmounted by a waisted neck with everted rim, applied overall in a bluish-gray glaze, suffused with a bold network of steel gray crackles, and the interior with a darker glaze also suffused with a network of crackles.
Condition: Good condition with minor surface wear, firing irregularities, shallow surface scratches, and a small chip to the lip.
Provenance: Hungarian private collection, acquired from a Swiss collector.
