A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN TAZZA, QING
China for the Thai market, Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century. The shallow circular dish supported on a splayed foot ending with a leaf-shaped rim, hand painted in blue and white to the interior and exterior, depicting a central medallion surrounded by floral sprays and a blue border. The exterior decorated with lappets framing flowers.
Provenance: North German private collection, acquired prior to 1967.
Condition: Very good condition, minuscule chipping at the rim, and manufacturing flaws.
