Of circular form, well painted in shades of inky blue with a group of precious containers and flowers including a bowl filled with pomegranates, a vase with butterflies holding large peonies, another vase with wisteria and a peacock-feather, a pingguozun vessel, a large pot with lotus flowers, the ground scattered with a twig bearing two peaches, two water chestnuts, a sash-tied qin, and potted chrysanthemums, two butterflies flying above. Provenance: From a private collection in Lyon, France. Condition: Some old wear, traces of use and firing flaws. The edges trimmed, smoothened and with minor associated chips.
