Portrait of Marc Otto (1600-1674) in 1649, Strasbourg jurist, Protestant canon of the Chapter of St. Thomas, city lawyer and plenipotentiary for the Republic of Strasbourg at the conferences leading to the Treaties of Westphalia. He set up a foundation to award scholarships. A "Marc Otto" thesis prize is still awarded today by the Chapter. 31x20 cm + frame,
