Italian school, 17th century,
The infant Jesus, born into the world of darkness, carelessly grasps the crown of thorns to save humanity. Oil on canvas, restored, 17th century frame, modern stretcher, 105 x 139 cm + frame 127 x 160 cm, approx. 23 kilos. Note the atypical depiction of the infant Jesus, painted with a Flemish influence, in the manner of Rubens.

Il bambino Gesù nato nel mondo delle tenebre afferra la corona di spine per salvare l'umanità. Olio su tela, restauri, cornice d'epoca XVII, telaio moderno, 105 x 139 cm + cornice 127 x 160 cm, 23 kg circa. Da notare la rappresentazione atipica del bambino Gesù, dipinta con influsso fiammingo, alla maniera di Rubens.
