Fine showcase writing cabinet probably Berlin/Potsdam, around 1760, walnut burl veneered on coniferous wood, two-part corpus, the lower part elaborately cambered, the front double curved, four drawers with original fittings, locks and keys, above wavy writing tablet, richly structured interior with six large drawers and six small hidden drawers, center door with six small secret compartments behind the pilaster strips, above flat glazed top with carved muntins, original brass lock with three tumblers, old restored, good residential condition, dimensions 233 x 123 x 55 cm.
