8 Guernsey Doubles 1874, These were issued during the reign of Queen Victoria. These coins were made of Bronze. They bore the effigy of Queen Victoria on the obverse and the Guernsey coat of arms on the reverse. The coins were widely used in Guernsey and neighboring islands until the pound sterling was adopted as the official currency in 1921.
