Quality rococo style silver chocolate pot. Over four stylized feet, the base decorated with rocailles in relief, strongly bulbous, pear-shaped body with high-set, short, partially covered consol pour. Slightly domed hinged lid with fully plastic knob in the shape of a budding branch. The body, lid and spout are decorated in relief with lavish rocaille decoration, C-curves, stylized acanthus leaf and shell work. Side baluster handle made of ebonized wood. Marked by 800, maker's mark, dealer's mark Gebrüder Friedländer. Weight ca. 955 g. H. 26 cm.
