Representative silver hunting trophy. Round, multi-profiled rising stand with indented shaft, merging into slightly bulged body, decorated all around with wide relief band of lancet leaves and flower buds as well as narrow, stylized palmette frieze. Highly drawn neck widening conically towards the rim with plastically applied narrow oak trees. Two high oval medallions framed by lush oak foliage with relief sculptural depiction of a stag and a doe with fawn. Hunting horns hanging from corded ribbons in the spaces between. On the stand engraved dedication "Stall Alex Spring Meeting 1924". Gest., assay mark, maker's mark. Weight ca. 1890 g. H. 40 cm. Cf. Neuwirth, Lexikon, vol. I, pp. 187, 188; vol. II, p. 58.
