Empire style silver coffee and tea set. Set of 3 pieces; coffee and tea pot and cream jug. Trumpet-shaped stand, merging into short, strongly indented shaft. Flaring oval body with stepped rounded shoulder and slender fluted neck. Hood-like hinged lid with large, fully sculpted bud finial. Lid rim, shoulder and foot rim surrounded by relief frieze of laurel leaves. Low-set spout surrounded by stylized lancet leaf wreath in relief, ending in the head of a mythical creature as a spout. Raised ear handle made of ivory lacquered wood. Partially gilded inside. Marked by 800, maker's mark. Weight total ca. 1925 g. H. 19,5 cm x 31,5 cm.
