BODENSTANDUHR German, F. G. Fischer, Dresden, end of 18th c. Walnut, u.a. woods, veneered, inlaid, brass, glass, enamel. H. 226, w. 50, d. 25 cm. On a brass plaque inscribed 'F. G. Fischer Dresden' and on the clock face marked 'Fischer'. Slightly conical body with profiled cornices. Clock head with flanking columns and projecting cornice. Enameled dial with Roman hour and Arabic minute numerals. Brass floral decorations. Partly damaged, veneer damage, function untested.
