A Gucci handbag and a beaded envelope clutch, circa late 1960; the rectangular handbag in dusty pink saffiano leather, flap with press stud fastener, open to reveal a leather-lined interior with five compartments, dual flat handles with gold-tone hardware, signed Gucci and cased in the original dust bag, W23.5 x H17 x D5 cm, handle drop length 12 cm; together with an envelope clutch in cream jacquard satin, flap fastens with a press stud, body and border embellished with white bead sequins, sew-on label 'Made in Italy' inside, W23.5 x H11.5 cm. (2) From the wardrobe of The Duchess of Abercorn. Gucci handbag condition: Used - with slightly rubbed corners, leather tanning and discolouring, scuff marks and minor stains on body and interior, wear on hardware, well structured. Evening clutch condition: Well Used - multiple sequins missing from original beadwork, yellowing of fabric, stain marks present.
