Felice Brusasorzi or Brusasorci (Verona 1539 - 1605) attributed. Saints Benedict and Francis in adoration of the Virgin and Child Oil on slate 32 x 24 cm The composition, divided into two clear registers and symmetrically calibrated, the gestures of the saints and the swirling bursting of the various angels, bring us back in a manner to 16th-century Veronese Mannerism and in particular to the master Felice Brusasorzi or Brusasorci. Many parallels can be cited: as for the Virgin and Child, the painting in the church of San Pietro in Carnario in Verona depicting Madonna and Child with SS. Lucia and Caterina, or Pala Giusti of the Sacristy of Sant'Anastasia; the St. Francis, on the other hand, is very similar to the central figure of the Capuchin Altarpiece of the church of the same name in Bolzano.
