LYONNAIS EPOQUE BINDINGS in-16°. Full blond calf. Smooth spine with repeated gilt fleuron and gilt title. Boards adorned with superb "leather strap" decoration composed of gold fillet and black wax interlacing (faded in places with age). Gilt fillet running along the edges. All edges gilded and finely chased with grotesque decoration. Part of a split in the spine of the 1st cover of both volumes, otherwise in very good condition. All treatises fully ruled.
