London [Brussels], Société des Bibliophiles [Kistemaekers], sd. [1877]
Full marbled paper. Spine decorated with a label with printed author and title. Yellow head. Covers included. Rubbing to covers and corners. Etching frontispiece by Hanriot
Uncommon first (or second) edition of the author's erotic masterpiece, published a few years after his death. Indeed, the copy contains two title pages: that of the original edition in the name of the Société des Bibliophiles and that of the second in the name of the publisher Williams, London, 1877. A real curiosity!
