Gilt and chased bronze mounting. Silver filigree spindle (relaxed). Four-sided cap featuring King Henri IV's profile, a fleur-de-lis and two flowers. Single-branch hilt, two straight flared quillons. Body knot marked "1593". Asymmetrical keyboard with the Arms of France on a cluster of four standards. Triangular blade, engraved, gilded and blued in thirds with trophies and foliage. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings (later than the model) with repoussé decoration. Lily knob.
