Roller jug, Erfurt, c. 1730-50. Faience, rich sharp fire and muffle color painting: butcher/ butcher with cattle to be slaughtered, deciduous trees and two ensemble of buildings at the side of the handle. Line decorated handle. Pewter mount with foot ring, neck ring and hinged lid. Painter's mark ''S'' on glaze stain (attributed to Georg Matthäus Schmidt). Old lid marks. On foot ring old inscribed ''Fleischer Innung Salzungen''. H. 26,5 cm. Faience tankard with polychrome paint, pewter mounting, pewterer's marks. Mark ''S'' in blue. Erfurt, ca. 1730-50. H. 26,5 cm.
