BALUSTRA VASE in polychrome enameled porcelain, decorated with carp and fish on a blue background. Makuzu Kozan" workshop mark on the base. Japan, Taisho period (1912-1926). A PORCELAIN VASE, MARKED "MAKUZU KOZAN", JAPAN, TAISHO PERIOD (1912-1926). HEIGHT. 39 CM (15 3/8 IN.) NOTE Makuzu Kozan (1842-1916) was one of the greatest ceramists of the Meiji era. Porcelain pieces signed by this artist were made well into the first decades of the 20th century.
