Large flintlock handgun made in Liège, round barrel with forced bullets, 13 mm caliber, fitted with a throwing bayonet at the bottom end; case finely engraved with leafy basins and animals, sliding trigger guard for bayonet attachment, rear safety hammer; fine flat walnut stock carved with scales, edged with acanthus leaves, silver thumb piece; length 22.5 cm. Period, Belgium, Liège, First Empire. Good condition
