Superb document adorned with a rich allegorical and heraldic frame by Erin Corr. Jointly, 12 documents relating to the various promotions (knight, officer, commander) of R. Chalon in the Order of Leopold: 5 l.a.s. to R. Chalon, 3 of which with a certified copy of the royal decree. Brux, 1858, 1867 and 1882. In-f° for the most part, 2 s. doc. by Minister Charles Rogier, 1 by Governor of Brabant Charles Liedts, 5 envel. cons.
