[WÜRDEN, Charles] Large uniface medallion with the effigy of Renier Chalon. 1882 Chocolate patina bronze, Ø 22.5 cm, unsigned. Original black lacquered molded wooden frame (cracked on the left without loss). Bust portrait of Chalon, enlarged, based on the medal engraved by Ch. Würden for the 39th anniversary of the Royal Numismatic Society (see no. 22), to which has been added a circle of grenetis and in the lower field the words "Né à Mons, le 4 déc. 1802 - Commandeur de l'Ordre Léopold [sic], le 3 déc. 1882".
