Fine untrimmed copy, very fresh. Very rare sale catalog of R. Chalon's numismatic collection, organized in three sessions, two in November 1889 in Brussels, at Librairie Larcier, the third in January 1890 in Paris, at Hôtel Drouot. One of 15 ex. on hollande (no. 15, hand-justified on the verso of the covers of the first 2 parts, the 3rd being also on hollande but without justification). Enriched with an etched copper portrait of Chalon by D.-J. Desvachez, [c. 1900] (flyleaf). Ref.
