First edition, ex. on large paper, of the three supplements with supporting documents, including an edition of the covers printed on wove paper, and of the final supplement published in 1891 by A. De Witte (without the cover). With 2 suites of 9 h.-t. (numbered 1 to 7, A and B) by J. Vandendaelen and G. Lavalette, one on laid paper, the other on chine appliqué, and a suite of in-text on chine appliqué (3 ff.). Includes 2 suppl. plates absent from ordinary editions: a col. front (gold on blue background) depicting medals, a pl. 7 following pl. 6 (the only one announced on the cover) of the 3rd suppl. To our knowledge, these 2 pl. have not been retained for commercial copies. Enriched with 3 plates: 2 plates of commemorative medals bearing the effigy of R.
