Marine Chronometer N° 4620 by Breguet et fils, completed circa 1830. Signed on the dial "Breguet et fils" "N° 4620", this is a model with a toothed barrel; two-day autonomy, daily winding, removable escapement platform on ovoid plate, winding from the back. Equipped with a compensated screw balance, cylindrical balance-spring without terminal curves, Earnshaw spring detent escapement. All numbers match. Matte silvered brass dial, original silvering. Hour and minute displays at 12 o'clock, blued steel pear-shaped hands. Seconds display at 6 o'clock, blued steel hand. Original beveled bezel glass. Varnished brass mechanism case, gimbal-mounted. Walnut carrying case. Varnished brass handles. Reassembly key. Missing box lock key and lock plate.
