Elgin National Watch Company Gold hunter case pocket watch Duhne & Co was founded in 1844 by Herman Duhne, Sr. in Cincinnati, Ohio. By the late 1800's the company was listed as the 2nd largest casemaker in the west and worked in both silver and gold.
