1910 Darracq RR Torpédo Chassis 6230 Ex Henri Malartre Same owner for 29 years Collection registration The Darracq firm is one of the great marques of the early 20th century and has left a lasting imprint on Europe's automotive heritage, being at the origin of the Alfa Romeo, Opel and Talbot brands. Funnily enough, Alexandre Darracq, the brand's founder, didn't even have a driver's license... The example we are offering belonged to Henri Malartre in the 35-40s, as confirmed by a letter from him in 2001. We then lost track of it until 1993. In that year, it was sold at auction by the Agen auction house. In 1998, it was acquired by our collector, who embarked on a major restoration project. Since then, it has taken part in numerous events. Although it hasn't been driven much in recent years, it's still in excellent condition. All the vehicles in the Rollet collection have been out of service for at least 5 years, and will need to be restarted.
