C 1927 CITROEN B14 G FAMILIALE
Series 348939
Same family for 78 years
Same owner for 18 years
French registration
3 000 / 5 000€
Launched at the end of 1926, the Citroën B14 marked an important step towards the modern Citroën. It was built on the assembly line, with its lightweight "all-steel" body. Its second evolution, the B14 G, was presented at the 1927 Paris Motor Show: styling became rounder and equipment improved.
The model we're presenting is a 7-seater station wagon, with bodywork specific to the B14 G. Its history is unusual. It remained in the same family from its delivery in 1927 in Lyon until its acquisition by the collector in 2005. The choice of a family car was an obvious one for this large family. Used for a long time by the first family, our collector continued to use it for ten years or so before giving up the car for lack of time. Today, despite a significant layer of dust, it is in generally good condition, very close to that in which it was acquired in 2005.
*This lot is sold by designation and will not be exhibited at the show*.
All vehicles in the Rollet collection have been out of service for at least 5 years, and will need to be serviced and inspected.
All the vehicles in the Rollet collection have been out of service for at least 5 years, and will need to be recommissioned and undergo a technical inspection.
