In order not to be ousted like Bantam, and despite the plebiscite given to Willy after the numerous tests at Camp Holberg, Willy, at his request, shared his manufacturing license with Ford to produce the Jeep as well. The example on display was delivered to the American forces in 1942, so there's a good chance that it went straight to England to support the Allied action.
