1955 CITROËN TRACTION 11 B Serial number 410777 Same owner for 24 years French registration 5 000 / 8 000€ In 1952, a major redesign was carried out, the trunk appeared, as did a new interior. These modifications, combined with the return of colors other than black in 1953, revived the car's career. So much so that it was produced for two more years, until the arrival of the ID. On July 27, 1957, the last 11 CV rolled off the production line under number 444 569, 23 years after the first. A rolling and very comfortable myth, the "traction" was used as much by General de Gaulle as by Pierrot le Fou or the "front-wheel drive gang". During the war, it was used by the Gestapo as well as the FFI. But its true vocation was to be a beautiful family car. Its comfort, reliability and design have left their mark on many generations. This example is a 1955 Traction 11 B that was restored some thirty years ago. Since it hasn't been driven for a long time, this car needs to be put back on the road. All the vehicles in the Rollet collection have been out of service for at least 5 years, and will need to be restarted.
