France Cane handle with woman's head Edmé Samson Paris, underglaze blue Meissen imitation mark 2nd half 19th c., curved T-shape with rocaille motif in relief, a sculptural woman's head at the front end and fine polychrome onglaze painting, decoration consisting of a cotton wool scene as a rococo couple in a park landscape with architecture, scattered flowers and scale mosaic in purple as well as colour and gold staffage, the woman's coiffure minimally fire cracked, otherwise in good condition for age, l 10.5 cm.
