Matthias Sindelar (* February 10, 1903 in Koslau near Iglau, Austria-Hungary as Matěj Šindelář; † January 23, 1939 in Vienna) was an Austrian footballer, center forward and captain of the legendary "Wunderteam". He was awarded several times as the best footballer of Austria in the 20th century and is a great idol of Austrian soccer.
