All headpieces worn, spotting throughout, minor damage to boards, corners missing, jaws split. Texts are clean overall, with some freckling, some sections more affected, with a few small tears without missing plates. The 3 plate collections comprise just over 450 single, double and triple plates. Volume III contains the supplements to the first 2 volumes of plates. Only 1 portrait of the two (Diderot). One plate (Horlogerie) in the last volume of text (tome 36). Ex. in modest condition binding. Sold as is.
